The Remembrance

Not too long ago had I held my baby sister in my arms.  I was at the age of ten by then.  I remembered it like it was just yesterday. She was a spoil child.  Everyone, including our neighbors, loved her. Mother never had to worry about finding a babysitter because there was always someone who was willing to look after her.  It's was as if she was blessed at birth to have so many people who had adored and loved her.

Growing up, I wasn't as close to her; maybe it was due to the age difference between us.  Now that we both are older, things have changed between us.  It's not that it had changed for the worse, but for the better.  We are so much closer now, even though she can be a little annoying at times. I guess that's what little sisters do--to annoy their older sister.

My prayer goes out to my baby sister.  My prayer for her is not tend for her to be wealthy, having fame or a prestige life, nor to have all the things in this world.  I pray that she will know the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved by faith through Him alone.  That her desires will be God high callings for women with Godly fear.

For now I will leave you with a beautiful poem.  Written my Cute Fairy.

My Sister's Love

A sister’s love is special
in oh so many ways
Now miles stretch between us
and minutes turn to days.
We’ve shared so much as children
the tears, the joys, the pain
A lifetime spent together
those memories remain.
In times gone by we’ve pondered
the paths our lives have taken
Knowing that in spite of this
our sister love unshaken.
A sister’s love is special
in ways that are unspoken
Still that binding force exists
our sister love unbroken.
